KÉK – Contemporary Architecture Center (Kortárs Építészeti Központ) is one of Hungary’s most important cultural institutions — and a key player in Central Europe’s architectural and urban discourse for over 25 years. And yet, many of its initiatives — from Budapest100 and urban walks, to Inclusive City and Othernity — have taken on a life of their own, sometimes becoming better known than the institution itself. When we teamed up, it became clear that what was needed wasn’t just a new look — but a more efficient system to pursue their goals. Many of KÉK’s projects are created in collaboration with designers across the country, making openness and flexibility essential. In the coming months, we’re excited to work within this ecosystem — learning how the identity can evolve with new layers, remain inclusive, and still feel distinctly KÉK.
